天橋立 Amanohashidate is renowned as one of Japan’s Three Scenic Views. Stretching for several kilometers, its sandbar lined with pine trees, connects the two shores. When viewed from above, it resembles a “dragon flying in the sky,” offering a grand yet graceful panorama.
立雲峽 Ryuun Gorge is the best vantage point to admire the Takeda Castle Ruins, often called the
「天空之城」“Castle in the Sky.” In the early morning, when mist and clouds surround the mountains, the ruins appear to float above a sea of clouds, creating a dreamlike spectacle. It is celebrated as one of Japan’s most magnificent cloud-sea views.
